Host Elon Musk and musical guest, Miley Cyrus teamed up on SNL, appearing in a dramatic Mars themed sketch.
On a SpaceX station on Mars in the near future, the colony runs into difficulties with oxygen running out. (Musk’s SpaceX plans to send astronauts to Mars within four years in our own current time space continuum.)
Elon plays himself.
Enter Chad (Pete Davidson) the unlikely hero. Musk says to Chad,
“‘Hello who am I speaking with? This is Elon Musk. ‘
“Who?”
Musk explains,
“Chad, I want you to understand that you will not survive this mission.”
“Okay.”
Miley Cyrus is resident scientist on Mars colony who, it seems, got busy with Chad and wants to say goodbye.
“Chad! I’ll always cherish what we’ve had together”
“Okay.”
