Just when it seemed it was going to be the worst 90 minutes Saturday Night Live had ever aired, the show’s host Christina Applegate saved the day at the very last minute playing Jillian Chizz, a dance instructor fond of Fosse. Until this moment, there had been no sign of inspired characterizations all night. You’d probably stopped watching long before it, so enjoy it now.
