Pete Davidson is famously The King of Staten Island and he paid tribute his hometown borough on the latest SNL.
Davidson teamed again with Big Wet (they did a Squid Game parody before) this time wearing I ❤️ Staten Island hoodies and singing about the proliferation of bagel joints and pizza parlors there and a dump you can see from space.
The song parodies Marc Cohn’s classic Walking In Memphis, which has been covered by Cher & others) At one point Cohen appears and says into his phone,
“No, I don’t want to be in a parody of my own song… what do you mean I’m already in it?”

And the next shot we see Cohen in a hoodie singing with Davidson and Big Wet.
Then Staten Island’s own Method Man joins the party and is asked in the famous song break,
“Tell me, are you Italian..?”
He responds,
“Man, I am tonight!”
