James McAvoy hosted SNL this week and appeared in a sketch as Mr. Tumnus, from C.S. Lewis’ Narnia books. (McAvoy played Mr. Tumnus in the 2005 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.)
A group of stalker-y fan girls (Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, and Kate McKinnon) find their girlhood crush after going through a wardrobe at their Brit Airbnb.
“Let me guess—it was my non-threatening masculinity. I’m sort of jacked but still in a little bit of a British way, you know?
I’ve become a unlikely sex symbol for a very specific sort of woman—sort of a lazy Hermione, if you will. To you, I am the perfect combination of man, animal, scarf, and flute music.”
But Tumnus reveals himself to be gay —and living with Narnia human Edmund!
Disappointed, the ladies head out looking for Neville Longbottom.
