Snap!: Honey Boo Boo Sells Girl Scout Cookies

After the Girl Scout organization banned her from selling cookies on Facebook, Alana Thompson – ever the entrepreneur – took to selling cookies at the Milledgeville Mall in Milledgeville, Georgia. Her business plan? For every five boxes of cookies people bought, she would pose for a picture with them. She sold out in minutes. In response to the Girl Scout Organization wanting them to stop selling cookies on Facebook, Momma June  (rather shrewdly) stated: “If I can raise more money for a troop, whoever they are, especially in an area where they donít get a lot of money, and parents canít afford to buy a ton of cookies, why wouldn’t I help?” (Photo: Pacific Coast News)
