I go back and forth about Eddie Redmayne and that face of his. I have a theory that it looks absolutely breathtaking on the stage – all hard angles, you know, with those great, jutting cheekbones and big, chewy lips – you can probably pick him out in a crowd scene from the last row of the balcony. But on the big screen it might be a bit jarring. A bit too much. I worry that his face will warp and bend and scare the children. I’m withholding judgement until after I see Les Miz, of course, and I will probably continue to post pictures of him even if I deem his movie career a bust, because he just fascinates me, BUT, FRANKLY, I’M CONCERNED. Did anyone see My Week with Marilyn? Did the audience scream or swoon when he first appeared on screen? And what do you think about Eddie’s face? Here he is entering the Today show, btw. And i’m NOT swooning. (Photo: Pacific Coast News)
