Upon seeing the violence at the capitol, Grisham texted the First Lady,
Do you want to tweet that peaceful protests are the right of every American, but there is no place for lawlessness & violence?”
Melania’s one-word response;
No.

Melania didn’t tweet on Jan. 6, but she did release a statement five days later saying she was
disappointed and disheartened with what happened last week.”
She also made it about herself,
I find it shameful that surrounding these tragic events there has been salacious gossip, unwarranted personal attacks and false misleading accusations on me.”
Grisham resigned on Jan. 6, but made no mention of the assault on the Capitol but tweeted that she was
proud of the many accomplishments of this Administration.”
Like others who served the Trumps, Grisham saved her diss for a payday in her tell-all book.
