Blake Fielder-Civil showed up with flowers for his wife Amy Winehouse on Wednesday after she’d been hospitalized for what was being called nervous exhaustion. Since then, she’s checked herself into a private wing at The Priory, a rehab facility in Roehampton (hello, Pete Doherty), after her longtime chronic drinking and drugging finally led to a three-day bender that resulted in the scrawny little singer collapsing from a probable overdose. Despite her friends’ and family’s concerns for her health, Winehouse has always maintained she’d never seek professional help for her substance abuse. And she married an enabler. The star began the bender on Monday after landing at Heathrow from a music festival in Chicago. She headed straight for the Robert Inn in Hounslow where she knocked back vodka with her husband. Later that evening Amy and Fielder-Civil went on to a favourite haunt, the Hawley Arms in Camden. The binge continued into Tuesday and at 1am on Wednesday Amy collapsed at the reception of London’s University College Hospital.
