Our wacky movie-set visitor is using the pseudonym Uno Hobo now, but that’s all that’s changed. And whether he’s on the set as photographer or actor is still unclear, though he’s attached no image to this dispatch:
On the set of Southland Tales, which is the new Richard Kelly film (Donnie Darko), The Rock was slurping nothing but protein drinks till his liver is transplanted, and reaching into his pocket periodically to read his lines. Then off to Sarah Michelle Gellar in a gold-sequined open-back gown for a 3-way dance scene with her and The Rock, and on Rock’s ass is none other than a chunky flat-chested Mandy Moore and getting hornier after each take as it turns into a semi lesbo tango with Mandy leading. Now Bai Ling, who was the naked girl in the shower scene of the first Crow film, was also there and the tattoo is real. Next, Shaun Roberts, who was the little Sicilian who dies in The Princess Bride, is also in this, as well as John Larroquette who is finally losing some of his thick head of hair. Last but not least in this cast is the little lady from Poltergiest, but she is now wheelchair bound. This all wrapped up at the Skirball Center by the Getty and was two grueling days. Also it is set in a giant airship dining hall with green screens and has a bit of a Nazi feel to it. This is all till I go on to the next set in two days with Clooney, Tobey, and Blanchett on The Good German, which is my next bit of fun. That’s it for now. Uno Hobo out.
