For their first virtual performance, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus mashed up “True Colors” by Cyndi Lauper and “Brave” by Sara Bareilles as a thank-you performance for healthcare workers during the pandemic. Behold “Truly Brave“:
Over 150 chorus members joined in for the virtual concert. The video is the beginning of their new video project SFGMC TV, created in response to the Chorus having to suspend live performances.
In addition to the new initiative, they have been posting moving and inspiring videos on their YouTube channel for years, like this lovely version of “There Will Be Light“:
