Sad news to report. A 21-year-old man was found dead in Demi Moore‘s swimming pool in Beverly Hills. He reportedly drowned in the pool on Saturday night, but his body wasn’t discovered until early this morning. Law enforcement sources said none of Demi’s family were present at the home and it’s not known who actually threw the party. A neighbor told TMZ that Demi’s children HAVE been staying at the house for weeks and claims they’ve been throwing parties
“every day, day and night.”
The man’s identity is not known and the investigation is ongoing.
UPDATE: Demi Moore said yesterday that she was “in absolute shock” at the death of a man who drowned in the swimming pool of her Beverly Hills home. L.A. County coroner’s Lt. Fred Corral told KTTV that Edenilson Steven Valle, 21, was pulled from the pool’s deep end, where he was found floating after being in the water an estimated 10-15 minutes. He was pronounced dead at approximately 5:30AM local time Sunday.
Moore, 52, said in the statement released through her publicist;
“I was out of the country traveling to meet my daughters for a birthday celebration when I got the devastating news.”
She added that the death, which occurred at a party held by her assistant in her absence, was an
“unthinkable tragedy, and my heart goes out to this young man’s family and friends.”
Corral said that Valle’s family and friends had told investigators that the victim did not know how to swim. Valle appeared to have slipped and fallen into the pool and no foul play was involved. (via Daily Mail; Fox News)
