What a day! What a wedding! Did you watch? Did you cry? I was up at three AM of course, popcorn in hand to se the pomp and spectacle, and OH! It did NOT disappoint. The oh-so-fusty royal fashions! The rando celebs! And the JEWELS! My god, THE JEWELS! We’ll be talking about that tiara for YEARS TO COME! Without further adieu, let’s look at the pics!
First off: The lovely bride, of course, Princess Eugenie, in the famed Greville emerald kokoshnik tiara she reportedly had to cage match the Queen to get her hands on…
via Daily Mail:
The glittering bandeau tiara was made by Boucheron in 1919 in the fashionable kokoshnik style popularised in the Russian Imperial Court.
It is made of brilliant and rose-cut pavé diamonds set in platinum, with six emeralds on either side, and was bequeathed by socialite Margaret Greville to the Queen Mother in 1942.
The dress is reportedly backless so the Princess could show her scoliosis scars…. SO BRAVE, OMG.
My DEAR! Naomi Campbell LOOKING DIVINE!
Cara Delevingne giving us her high school production of Oliver Twist in the funeral procession… Not wedding attire, but I’ll allow it….
Her sister Poppy, oh my! Slightly extra, but you know Brits and their weddings…
Demi Moore and wowlebrity Eric Butterbaugh…
Daddy AF: Robbie Williams. Woof!
Ellie Goulding seems slightly frumpy and out of place here… (Especially since the woman next to her is SO ON POINT!)
HERE SHE IS, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: Fergie with that hat! That hat! That hat thatt’s about to take flight! Who obviously got her outfit at Royals ‘R’ Us! I LOVE IT! And HATE IT!
Princess Anne looking very FAW FAW FAW FAW (if you know what I mean).
Oh hai! I like Queen Beatrice and her cerulean (?) ensemble…
Here comes Harry!
And of course, professional scene stealers George and Charlotte. Altogether now: AWWWWWWWWWW.
And there go the happy couple.
