Children are flummoxed by dial tones, busy signals, and the concept of “long distance” calling.
When confronted with a paleolithic phone with, gasp, a rotary dial, the kids of Kid’s React have no idea what to do. They struggle with the dial, eventually giving up saying it takes too long and is too difficult to turn. Then they spend a few minutes trying to figure out how to send text messages on it (“dial the one for A, B, or C…” “but how does the other person read it?” “Morse Code?”). Adorable, but OMG you’ll feel old. Wait’ll they see a phone book. (via Towleroad; Related: BuzzFeed)
