Brit actress Rosamund Pike is the latest talent to flee the United Talent Agency, following Rachel McAdams, Dragon Tattoo‘s Noomi Rapace, and new Robocop, The Killing‘s dreamy Joel Kinnaman. We don’t know much about the talent agency business, but it would seem to us the talent there is doing quite well, thank you very much. For example, next-big-thing Pike just scored the industry’s most coveted role: the female lead in the David Fincher-directed adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s still-bestselling novel Gone Girl, opposite Ben Affleck. Of course, parenthetically, she IS a dead-ringer for how you pictured the girl. Just sayin’. (via deadline)
