Sure, presidential hopeful Mitt Romney is handsome, but not so handsome that he couldn’t use some makeup. He recently logged in $300 in “communications consulting” expenses for two $150 visits to a California company that describes itself as “a mobile beauty team for hair, makeup, and men’s grooming and spa services” and we describe as a “beauty salon.” A spokesman for the Morman candidate said there was really only one appointment. “We used them once,” he said, “but booked time twice and still had to render payment for the appointment time.” They must have really spackled on the pancake if it wasn’t necessary for him to go back a second time. But Stacy Andrews, the makeup artist who worked on Romney’s face at Hidden Beauty, said he barely needed makeup. “He’s already tan,” she said. “We basically put a drop of foundation on him… and we powdered him a little bit.” That’s how it starts.
