Third lady Melania showed up at the last night of the RNC wearing a bright green dress that was the same shade as a green screen.
People spotted an opportunity to overlay the dress with headlines, charts, stats about the coronavirus and the faces of public figures, like Jeffrey Epstein.
The Daily Show created a full montage with the caption,
“Melania’s fashion choices always send a message.”
This is far from the first time the first lady’s fashion choices have reached meme status. Her speech from the Rose Garden had her wearing a pseudo military dress which was widely mocked. And we all remember what she wore in 2018 when heading to the border to visit children separated from their parents as a result of her husband’s policy. Her infamous jacket,
“I really don’t care, do u?”
I will note, all three outfits were green.
Listen, I’m no TLOTUS fan, but here’s some advice; maybe green isn’t your color, especially this shade.
When Michelle Visage is right, she’s right. Stay away from the green, hunty.
