Former Breitbart editor and rightwing extremist Ben Shapiro is not happy –about a LOT of things, apparently.
The latest outrage came from a recent New York Times op-ed, Rudolph,’ the Queerest Holiday Special by trans writer Jennifer Finney Boylan who said the beloved holiday classic offers a positive message to LGBTQ kids,
It gets better for misfit reindeer, too!”
Shapiro, who has a history of feuding with trans reporters, found the idea of the red-nosed reindeer being a queer icon VERY upsetting, and he had a little breakdown,
The whole movie feels as LGBTQ friendly to me as any episode of ‘Queer Eye’ or ‘Steven Universe’ or ‘The L Word.‘
Can’t you just leave Rudolph alone?! Like, he’s got enough problems without you putting your own issues with sexual orientation on his fragile flying back!
Rudolph doesn’t have sex with any of the other male reindeer!
Like, it’s a piece of children’s literature. Cut it out!”
Threatened much?
Watch.
