Hollywood producer Joel Silver relisted his LA megamansion for $75 million.
Located in the gated Brentwood Circle neighborhood, the 25,000-square-foot hacienda-style residence was designed by the late Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta.
The home was designed and built for Mr. Silver, who has produced the Die Hard, The Matrix and Lethal Weapon franchises among others.
It sits on nearly 5 acres and it took 5 years to construct with materials imported from the Yucatan in Mexico (where I am currently building a MUCH more modest house)
It has a double-height atrium entrance with limestone floors and a retractable skylight, a dining room with a pyramid-shaped ceiling, a library and a screening room that seats about 20 people. The living and dining areas open to the outdoors, which has multiple terraces.
There are eight bedrooms, including two suites with dens, walk-in closets and marble bathrooms plus a chef’s kitchen, office, a game room and sauna.
Outside there’s a pool with travertine columns, reflecting pool, spa, a basketball court and an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven.
All for just $75 million.
