Joan Rivers’s in-the-works gay version of The View for Bravo is coming along nicely. The show, currently being called Can We Dish (so ’70s), will feature Rivers slinging barbs in the Barbara Walters chair with three gay male co-hosts. Page Six says the scores of autitioners have been whittled down to 10 hopeful homos, one of whom is former New Jersey governor, Jim McGreevey, the first and so far only openly gay governor in US history, the one who was having relations with a male employee at the capitol back in ’04. “I am mad about the ex-governor,” Rivers rasped. “I am dancing down the streets.” We hope he gets a final callback. Meanwhile, we think another swell idea is to fill the Star Jones seat with Al Reynolds.
