Lee Loechler spent six months reworking the animation of the Sleeping Beauty‘s most iconic scene, altering the characters to look like his girlfriend and himself, editing the storyline to set up the Big Question.
And that’s only the beginning…
He then took his girlfriend, Sthuthi David, to a packed theater to see the film. David’s face during the scene is at first confused with no clue what is about to happen. But the magical moment came when Loechler’s illustrated onscreen self tosses the engagement ring to his real-life self in the theater.
His bride-to-be’s is surprised to be surrounded by her friends and family.
