Monkeys riding bareback on dogs was just the beginning. Other events in the 48th Annual Angola Prison Rodeo that drew a crowd of 16,000 to the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola yesterday included bull riding, buddy pickup, rodeo clowns, and the popular favorite, Convict Poker. Convict Poker (in case you’d like to introduce it at your next neighborhood cookout) involves four convicts casually playing poker in the middle of the arena when a bull is released.
