WOWlebrity, all-over-the-town photographer, Ruben Natal San-Miguel made the NYC Dyke March as he did every parade & March in every borough in Manhattan this year.
This year the march stepped off from Bryant Park on Saturday, June 24, 2023 as a demonstration of First Amendment right to protest. It took place without permits or sponsors.
Thousands of Dykes took to the streets in celebration of beautiful and diverse lives, to highlight the presence of in the LGBTQ community, and in protest of the discrimination, harassment, and violence they can face in schools and on the job.
According to their website,
“ALL who identify as a dyke were welcome to march regardless of gender expression or identity, sex assigned at birth, sexual orientation, race, age, political affiliation, religious identity, ability, class, or immigration status.”
