Shepard Fairey’s Hope graphic for Obama in 2008 was iconic. It’s now a political cliché. Election 16’s most widely seen may be the nude paintings or statues of Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton in stars and stripes boob-baring one-piece. Ken Rudin, who’s an expert in political memorabilia, said to the Economist,
“This is absolutely nasty, nastier than anything I have seen before.”
You mean, like pussy-grabbing? Or nasty women? It’s almost overwhelmingly about Trump, but has there EVER been a better political target? Anyway, today, it’s all over and done but the voting and crying on one side. Let’s look back, shall we?
