The outspoken, fab Diva Patti LuPone will soon return to Broadway in the Company revival.
Yesterday, Patti tweeted,
“Oh, hello, everyone.
I have so much to say about the state of the world, but I’m so afraid to say it on Twitter. However, I will say…I’ve never been to Fire Island! Someone give me a house for the weekend (cause I’m in rehearsal weekdays).
Go.”
Promoter extraordinaire Daniel Nardicio, (who has hosted some divas in Fire Island before) reposted LuPone’s plea and got some pretty great responses. Like,
“Patti LuPines!… Don’t go near the bushes…
…Do you not realize you could have bought a share?”
But the best was Chauncey Dandridge who said,
“Tell her the season is over…”
To which Nardicio replied,
“I did, she sang back ‘my season ended a long time ago, but no one took the party tent down’
to which I responded ‘bitch thats Christine’s song!'”
