It’s not often that a tabloid story will knock on your door, metaphorically speaking. But the next to the next best thing knocked on ours, quite literally. Our neighbor at home is a gay callboy. On Saturday, he knocked on our door with the latest ish of the National Enquirer and was all a-buzz about its accusations that Matt LeBlanc has been a little too “friendly” with the gays. LeBlanc’s former chauffeur, the elaborately named Damien Plumleigh, has claimed that before the Joey star was married, back in his younger, wilder days, he’d driven him on trolling missions, seeking gay hustlers for a romp in the limo’s back seat. Joey, er, Matt of course has protested the story, denying it up, down, and sideways. And we really don’t care one way or the other. Gay shmay. But here’s our very tenuous involvement in the story: Our neighbor took one look at the photo of Plumleigh and recognized him as a client of his. The chauffeur – a john of our neighbor.
