Taylor Swift collaborated with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for the end-credits song from the epic upcoming disaster Cats. It’s supposedly written “in the style of T.S. Eliot,” because as Taylor herself put it, “If you can’t get T.S. Eliot, get T.S.” Which is just… WOW. And picture it, if you will, at next year’s Oscars, with Tay-Tay in a black velvet gown, sporting a necklace with an emerald the size of a golfball, alone in the spotlight, with Andrew playing the piano, stage left. And the stars are falling UPWARD, as they are in the video, and Taylor leaps to that final chord, sing-screaming (wIth a newly acquired British awwwwwwccent) “So I’ll dahnce with these….Beautiful GHOOOOOOOOOOOOOSTS!” Goosebumps, huh?
Listen below (TO THE ENTIRE SONG, STICK WITH IT UNTIL THE VERY END!) and let me know what you think it’s Oscar chances are….
