This Sunday is the Winter Solstice Eve and it brings the team of Stella Starsky and Quinn Cox back to Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater again. I know these guys a little bit, but their reputation precedes them. They are a couple that, along with being good TV talk show guests (Chelsea Handler) and bestselling authors (Sextrology, Cosmic Coupling) they are also, as Vanity Fair calls them, “Psychics to the Stars”. (I can’t name drop all of the names, but they know the INTIMATE details of many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.) Their new show, Starsky + Cox: You Better Watch Out is this Sunday, December 20. Here’s their own description which I couldn’t possibly improve upon:
On a raucous sleigh ride along the astral plane, Stella Starsky and Quinn Cox unlock the secrets of the stars, sprinkling us with their wry wisdom and groovy guidance. From reading audience’s astrological charts to gauging the current celestial clime to unleashing the metaphysical power of the zodiac, delving the kinky corners of the multiverse, Starsky + Cox regale showgoers, in words and music, with their supernatural tales from the synchronistic road less taken, letting us in on the cosmic joke and revealing why they are the go-to gurus of this or any generation. With Matt Ray, Claudia Chopek, Danton Boller and Patrick Johnson.
Others have said these nice things about this dynamic duo:
“Starsky + Cox will inspire a whole new generation” –The New York Observer
“A word of mouth phenomenon, a rare find” –Time
“Starsky and Cox are serious metaphysicians who happen also to be quite funny”-The Boston Globe
“The favored astrologers of fashion insiders” –Elle
“Starsky + Cox’s popularity with the hipperati has made them household names” –Marie Claire
At Joe’s Pub, tickets just $20.00. Doors open at 6:00PM; show at 7:00PM. You COULD be part of the show too. To be considered for a live astrological reading, send them your name plus birth date and time and place to [email protected] You can find out more about them here.
