Ryan O’Neal, who’s suffering from various stages of three types of cancer (including stage-2 prostate cancer), is seen here signing a copy of his memoir, Both of Us: My Life with Farrah at a Long Island bookstore. Downbeat and a bit confused of late, he chose to sign books over seeing his doctor. He was overheard recently saying he plans to visit with Mia Farrow, his co-star from Peyton Place. Ryan, you old-timers will remember, played Rodney Harrington to Mia Farrow’s Alison MacKenzie on that mid-to-late-’60s primetime soap. Perhaps Farrow will be able to talk him into better spirits.
