On the Red Carpet: The Brave Premiere

I went to the big Brave premiere last night at the grand opening of the Dolby (formerly Kodak) Theater. In front of me on the red carpet, I saw Angela Bassett (in a $3 fright wig), Molly Ringwald, Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa, Craig Ferguson, Christina Milian, and Victoria’s Secret Alexandra Ambrosio. The only two pictures I got, though, were these. The first is Ray Ochoa, who is both a Disney and Nickelodeon star, which, combined, gives him a sort of historic inevitability (“I’m gonna be HUGE”) that’s just catnip for the paparazzi. They were DEVOURING him. And he was working the red carpet like he was Tom Cruise. The second is a blurry picture of Garcelle Beauvais’ ass. It was in my face the entire night. From the red carpet to the stairs to the popcorn line to the after party to the buffet line to the bar. I think she thought I was stalking her, especially when I started taking surreptitiously photographing her butt, but I wasn’t, I promise. I didn’t even know who she was, I just really liked her silver bike shorts and hot pink jacket combo. Plus, it was a REALLY NICE ass. Anyway, as you can see, I’m not going to give up my day job to become a paparazzo anytime soon. The movie, btw, was fab, the 3D animation was mind-blowing, and the new Atmos sound system that premiered last night WILL CHANGE THE MOVIES ARE HEARD FOREVER.
