It’s the official music video for “Music Is Medicine,” the title track of Marie Osmond‘s new album (which came out last week), and it is SERIOUSLY one of the oddest mishmashes of New Wave fashion, pop music artistry, and heartfelt messages about the healing power of music. Seriously, wt actual f, Marie? My colleague Blake Jacobs SLAMMED it in a post last week, but I really must disagree. I think it belongs in the pantheon of legendary music videos, standing alongside Michael Jackson‘s “Thriller,” Madonna‘s “Vogue,” Missy Elliot‘s “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly),” Lady Gaga‘s “Bad Romance,” and Paris Hilton‘s “Stars Are Blind.”
Watch it in all of its kooky glory below.
