DapperQ kicked off New York Fashion Week with their sixth annual queer runway showcase at the Brooklyn Museum. dapperQ.com is a digital queer style magazine that is “ungendering fashion” and the show was the largest queer style event held during NYFW.
The evening started with a tour of the museum’s exhibit Nobody Promised You Tomorrow: Art 50 Years After Stonewall
Photographer on-the-move, Ruben Natal-San Miguel was there to capture mini pop-up shops by some of the featured designers, happy hour (sponsored by Henrietta Hudson, NYC’s oldest queer women’s bar) the runway show AND some backstage portraits.
