I’m guilty of it. I’ve called him out for being a little lesbian. I made fun of him for hiring a “swagger coach.” But now I see that, omg, he really is JUST A LITTLE KID! Just a fresh-faced, rosy-cheeked, sweet-as-pie, butter-wouldn’t-melt-in-his-mouth LITTLE KID! Knowing that he’s 15-years-old when you see his press photos and actually seeing him stand next to an adult are two different things. I suddenly feel very protective of him. In the pic on the left, I’m a little worried he’s about to be devoured by that Ke$ha monster. And I am completely charmed by the fact that he flubbed his lines on last nights Grammy show after meeting Beyoncé right before he walked onstage. Of COURSE he was still flustered! I mean LOOK AT HER next to him. She’s a glamazon! She must be sexually terrifying to a kid that age! So for the next three years I’m going to give him a chance to grow up, and only say warm and nurturing things to say about him, and I encourage everybody to do the same.
