This looks like it might be a terrific adaptation of the Broadway musical adaptation of Federico Fellini’s 1963 masterpiece 81/2. In fact, the trailer alone looks more like the movie than the musical did. Nine, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, and Sophia Loren, is directed by Cabaret‘s Rob Marshall and will open in November.
