Teen Wolf and Arrow star Colton Haynes, who recently made headlines for (finally) coming out of the closet, took to Instagram ranting at people he feels have “brainwashed” or “manipulated” him. He didn’t mention any names, or even give us any real context for the diatribe, but told upcoming actors to “be careful” with who they work with.

“Watch out for liars, brainwashers and manipulators,” he said. “Those who promise you the world then fuck you over leaving you blindsided.”

He tells his followers that “If and when this happens to you, I promise you will make it out alive.”

“Take it from me, I knew it was happening the entire time and I’m doing so much better in life without that fake influence who projected negativity on me because they were too afraid to own up to their own insecurities. Sorry for the realness… actually I’m not.”

“I’m done apologising for things I didn’t do,” he finished.

Again: Not 100% sure what this is referring to but I imagine it has something to do with his famously litigious management who advised him to keep his sexuality a secret and who threatened bloggers (MYSELF INCLUDED) with lawsuits if they posted his infamous homoerotic XY magazine pictures. If that’s the case, good for him. I’m glad he’s owning his truth and not ashamed of his past. (via Attitude)
