Three diverse stories about a real-life person’s rise and fall (The Dropout), a fictional musical land with a Groundhound Day twist (Schmigadoon) and a new Tina Fey comedy! (Girl5eva)

The Dropout
Kate McKinnon stars as disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in a dramatic role. The limited series follows how Holmes raised hundreds of millions to fund her biotech start-up, becaming a media darling all the while hiding the fact that her blood-testing machine didn’t work.

Girl5eva
Tina Fey and Robert Carlock created 30 Rock and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and they’ve reteamed for this musical comedy. Former one-hit wonder girl group, Girl5eva are taking another shot at the limelight. The all-star cast includes Grammy– and Tony-winners Sara Bareilles and Hamilton’s Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps and former SNL writer Paula Pell.

Schmigadoon
SNL creator and comedy-star maker Lorne Michaels teams current cast member Cecily Strong with Keegan-Michael Key. They star as a couple who discover a magical town on a back-packing trip where everyone acts like they’re in a 40s musicals. But they can’t leave until they’ve found “true love.” It’s been described as Groundhog Day meets Enchanted. The cast features Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen, Kristen Chenoweth, Aaron Tveit, Jaime Camil and Jane Krakowski.
