TV Land has announced that, starting in October, early bling appreciator Mr T (real name, Laurence Tureaud), will be host of I Pity the Fool, a talk show that will see him traveling the country dispensing inspirational advice to folks wrestling with personal problems. “My show ain’t no Dr Phil, with people sitting around crying,” he told AP. “You’re a fool – that’s what’s wrong with you. You’re a fool if you don’t take my advice.” It’s comforting to know Mr T hasn’t changed at all in 23 years.
