Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton’s song Rainbowland was banned from a Wisconsin elementary school concert.
After a student began rehearsals for their annual spring concert –despite the school approving the song list– the Waukesha County school board issued a ban.
The Wisconsin school administrators worried that the song
could be perceived as controversial.”
The track’s lyrics are simply about love and acceptance,
Where we’re free to be exactly who we are
Let’s all dig down deep inside
Brush the judgment and fear aside
