Miley Cyrus has proved that she can tackle any song from any genre, after performing an array of superfab covers throughout the promotional cycle for her new album, Plastic Hearts. She’s brilliantly done Blondie’s “Heart of Glass,” the Cranberries “Zombie,” the Cure’s “Boys Don’t Cry,” Hall and Oates’ “Man-eater,” and the Beatles’ “Help” (and included the renditions of “Heart of Glass” and “Zombie” as bonus tracks on Plastic Hearts, as well).
On Tuesday, she added Hole’s classic “Doll Parts” to her growing repertoire, during an episode of The Howard Stern Show.

While Cyrus said she and her band had only worked out the cover the day before, the performance of the Live Through This classic was pristine, as Cyrus steadily built to the mighty howl she unleashed as she repeated the closing refrain, “And someday, you will ache like I ache.”
There’s nothing like covering Hole at 6 am in a Plasmatics sleepy tee cause I got to the fucking studio and realized my dress I brought was a jacket with no buttons lol @courtneylove Thank you @sternshow for having me and the great conversation. Always a good time.— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) December 4, 2020
