Michael Musto and Chip Duckett outdid themselves yet again. The launch party last night for Musto’s book, Fork on the Left, Knife in the Back, was NYC GAYMAZING! Fabulous crowd, ferocious fashion, enticing entertainment, and an open bar. Everybody who was anybody (and their Momma) was there. I happily rocked a black and white Versace ensemble, but truth be told it was hard to compete in such a bevy of fashion beauties. Famed party photographer Patrick McMullan came over and photographed me, saying he loved my pants; when I told him my name and that I blog for WOW he immediately asked me to send his hellos to his old friend (and WOW’s expert editor) Stephen Saban (done).
Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey arrived just as the entertainment started. Drag king Murray Hill started off the night with a bit of song and dance and then let the one and only Dirty Martini rip the house down with her super sexy striptease. Chip Duckett then grabbed me, Randy, Fenton, the fabulous photographers Idris & Tony, and pulled us into the VIP area with Michael Musto and lots of fun folks. Party time! I’m going to post some photos below. I was diligent about getting names for about 10 minutes, then the fun kicked in and I just let it slide. So forgive me if I don’t put names with the faces (it truly is the sign of a good party).
