Thank goodness! Could you IMAGINE a world without Mick Jagger in it?
Page Six reported this morning that Mick Jagger has successfully undergone heart surgery, saying he is doing very well and is expected to make a full recovery.
The 75-year-old rocker had a stent placed in his heart during an operation that took place in New York City after being diagnosed with an undisclosed illness.
Jagger, himself, is thanking fans for their support.
“Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend – and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job,” he tweeted on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Rolling Stones have postponed their tour during his recovery.
“Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment,” the band said in a statement at the time.
Get well soon, you old coot!
