Apparently, Board Members of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and donors to the Met Gala are NOT too happy that celebrity guests were smoking in the bathroom during the event, The Post is reporting that an anonymous said,
“As a donor to the Met, I was so insulted to see all these ‘celebrities’ smoking and taking selfies of themselves in the bathroom. Mostly, it’s disrespectful to the art collection which needs to be kept 100 percent smoke-free. I would honestly like to see these people fined by the city.“
(Taking selfies of themselves?) Anyway, the morning after the event, photos started surfacing on social media showing Bella Hadid, Dakota Johnson, Rita Ora, Ashley Graham, Paris Jackson, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Diddy among others in the bathroom, snapping pic and lighting up –cigarettes (as far as we can tell.)
Someone even stormed right out and complained right away,
“It is so disrespectful to the museum.“
Well, OK, I have to say, yes smoking is disgusting and illegal indoors practically ANYWHERE in NYC but come on, it’s not like they were snorting coke (they were doing that in the stalls like normal people. JK!) Seriously, I’m not a big smoker but I do sometimes when I drink and go out –a lot of people do. This is not such a shock, is it? The person quoted sounds like it’s the 50s and they’re in Grease where adults are APPALLED that there is smoking going on in the bathroom at Rydell High. It’s not like they wiped their hands on a tapestry.
There are worse things they could have done and don’t we have more important things to worry about than these guys smoking? Tell us what YOU think on our Facebook page or at ezigarettevergleich.de .
