Max Irons was SUPPOSED to be the next Robert Pattinson, remember? Or so we all thought, back when we still thought that The Host was going to be the next Twilight. Well, that mess came and went, and poor Max is still lingering in the lower depths of the C-list. Of course, his father’s recent idiocy isn’t helping matters. But let’s put all that behind us and focus, instead, on this trailer for the STARZ original series The White Queen, a historical, ten-part limited series, and a BBC co-production, adapted from The New York Times best-selling historical novel series The War of the Roses by Philippa Gregory. Picture it: The year is 1464, before the Tudor dynasty ruled the country, and war has been ravaging throughout England over who is the rightful King. It is a bitter dispute between two sides of the same family; The House of York and the House of Lancaster. The House of York’s young and handsome Edward IV is crowned King of England with the help of the master manipulator, Lord Warwick aka The Kingmaker. But when Edward falls in love with a beautiful commoner, Elizabeth Woodville, Warwick’s plan to control the throne comes crashing down. It’s all VERY EXCITING, like a real life Game of Thrones, and my god, he’s dashing!
