Rep. Madison Cawthorn REALLY loves to be in the news, it seems…
According to WSOC, he was just charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon on City Property for carrying a gun through the Charlotte Douglas International Airport today.
The loaded 9-millimeter handgun was discovered at a TSA checkpoint, though the agency declined to say who it was that had the weapon. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said it took possession of Cawthorn’s firearm. In of February 2021 Cawthorn tried to bring a gun through the airport and was not prosecuted.
The congressman has not commented on the incident. Oh, this ought be good…
