Currently the only way to hear Katy Perry‘s new song “Chained to the Rhythm” is to check this map to find the closest disco ball to you and plug in! We did, and IT IS FABULOUS! Pure magical pop-disco!
Katy Perry has planted giant disco balls with headphone jacks in public areas of major cities around the world chained to park benches, fences, guard rails – whatever you can’t move – for her fans to find. If you are lucky enough to live in one of these cities, you can go plug in and jam the house down (BOOTS) to Katy’s new single “Chained to the Rhythm.” Savannah and I couldn’t wait until the release of the song on Friday to get a listen, so we hiked our asses up Griffith Observatory to hear sister Katy’s first single of her new era, and we were not disappointed! We wondered how none of these were getting stolen or vandalized, but found our answer when a guy came up to us and asked to take our picture while we listened. He was there to make sure nothing happened to the disco ball, so we asked him if he knew if Katy would be performing “Chained to the Rhythm” at the Grammy’s on Sunday, but he was tight lipped. My bet would be on yes!
