Confetti rained down over the audience, Monday night, as Coldplay frontman Chris Martin honored the late, great Gene Wilder by singing a bit of “Pure Imagination” at the end of their concert. News of the actor’s death had just broken when the band took the stage in Denver, and Martin says he wanted to memorialize him with the classic song. Listen below.
