Professor Stephen Hawking, famous physicist and subject of the film The Theory of Everything just released his cover of Monty Python’s Galaxy Song. The track was originally sung by Eric Idle was written for the 1983 film Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life. The concept behind this version of the song first came to fruition during the Python’s reunion shows, where Hawking would appeared alongside Professor Brian Cox during a short video skit. Today is my birthday and, even though we live in a f*cked up world with too much suffering, seeing this brilliant but disabled genius having fun, makes me feel like everything is right in the Universe. Watch.
