Our friend and wowlebrity Calpernia Addams, star of WOW’s Transamerican Love Story, will be hosting and singing in a new monthly cabaret experience, Stunning, opening August 8 in the Fedora Room of LA’s First & Hope Downtown Supper Club (that upbeat name is also the address). It’s the classic “dinner and a show” concept. Ms Addams tells us that a full gourmet supper by chef Shelley Cooper is included, and in addition to Addams’ classic jazz stylings there will be four drag showgirls personally selected by her: Detox, Willam Belli, Eddie DeBarr, and Miss Conception. Plus, don’t say anything, but she’s expecting her showbiz friends Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman, Willam Macy, Troy Garity, and Lee Pace to turn up for the opening.
