Joe Biden got a narrow majority of the queer male vote, with 51%.
The poll conducted by queer dating app Hornet found that, overall among its users, around 66% prefer Biden while 34% support Trump. The LGBTQ voting block has usually reliably Democratic…
- Barely less than half of queer men said they do not support Trump, and a 11% said they generally disagree with his stances.
- 10% emphatically said they do not support him “at all” and would not vote for him regardless.
- 27% of respondents mostly or fully supported Trump.
- In terms of countries, only two surveyed supported Trump over Biden, being Taiwan, 51% and (SURPRISE!) Russia, where nearly 60% supported Trump.
Trump and his campaign team have increasingly looked towards LGBTQ people as a way to shore up support amid the his cratering poll numbers.
Trump has eroded many pre-existing LGBTQ rights, Trans rights, in particular and during many of this year’s victories in the arena of LGBTQ rights Trump has remained silent or vastly indifferent.
And when the president has been pressed about certain LGBTQ issues he has been utterly clueless. But utterly clueless is his middle name.
