Beyonce’s weekend concert in Dubai made some in the LGBTQ community question her decision.
But Ts Madison says she doesn’t see anything wrong with her getting a big fat check because Queen Bey is loyal to her fans.
Madison told TMZ Live that she believes most people, even those criticizing Beyonce, would jump at a $24 million payday in Dubai. She says many people in the LGBTQ community already do travel there, so, the whole sellout label seems hypocritical.
And, Madison points out that Bey dedicated Renaissance to the LGBTQ community. (Full disclosure Madison was also OK with being sampled on one of the albums tracks, Cozy.)

Madison says fans should separate politics from a concert performance, like Beyoncé seems to have. And perhaps just like those in the community that seem to have separated food and politics and continue to eat at Chick-fil-A?
But the laws are strict there, though not strictly enforced, according to Wikipedia,
LGBT persons in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) face legal challenges not experienced by other residents. Homosexuality is illegal in the UAE. Under UAE law same-sex sexual activity is punishable by the death penalty, in compliance with Sharia.
As of 2021, there are no known arrests or prosecutions for same-sex sexual activity in the UAE since at least 2015. Individuals have been prosecuted for related offenses, under public decency laws, for acts such as kissing in public, or cross-dressing.
Mathew Knowles is also defending his daughter as someone who has always stood for inclusiveness, and says everyone was in Dubai for love.
As for more criticism about NOT performing songs from Renaissance at the concert, like a proud papa, Mathew promos the tour and says she’ll announce
when she’s ready.”
Just like everything the Queen does.
