Cross-generational, varied, and diverse, and arriving in tumultuous times when gay life is still under threat, the exhibit will include explorations of historic marginalization and contemporary threats of repression; love, play, and tenderness, and queer resilience and resistance to hate; lovers and muses, friends and flings, comrades and communities.
Co-curator, photographer Ruben Natal-San Miguel says,
“We’re going to see so many gay lives –mine any many others– reflected on the walls in so many ways.“
Pride opens Thursday, June 6th, 6 – 8PM
It runs through July 20, 2019 at Postmasters 54 Franklin Street, NYC.
